Haiti: What I Learned

Haiti: What We Did

On Monday, I shared with you some of my observations about life in Haiti. Today, I’m going to show you some of the projects that my team undertook during our stay, and tell you a little about some of the ministries taking place on the Borel compound where we were staying! The Borel Compound The Borel compound houses about a dozen missionaries, most of whom live there full-time. It is surrounded by a wall, with a guarded gate and 24 hour security personnel. Life in Haiti

We returned home yesterday from 8 days in sunny Haiti on a mission trip with our church. People keep asking me how my trip was and I don’t know how to answer. It was great! But it was also sad, and hard, emotional, convicting, wonderful… just so many things! Overall, I’m so glad I went and I learned a lot. Off we go: HAITI!!!

I am SO EXCITED to leave tonight on our long-awaited mission trip to Haiti!!
