You guys — my wonderful blog readers — never cease to amaze me!
You probably know already that I feed my family of 6 for under $175/month. I do this WITHOUT coupons. (Because who has time for coupons, really?) I used to coupon like crazy, but since those shows came out and ruined it for everybody, coupons just aren’t as good as they used to be. And also, they’re mostly for packed, processed foods. The last 4 years or so, I’ve been transitioning to a healthier way of life, by cooking with raw, whole ingredients instead of buying packaged food. This means I don’t buy frozen dinners, boxed mixes, and the like. Instead, I make things from scratch that I used to buy.
Several examples of these are located on my Money Saving Recipes page! You can find how I make homemade Bisquick mix to make pancakes, waffles, biscuits, & more. You’ll also find brownie mix, syrup, taco seasoning, oatmeal, tator tots, enchilada sauce, hamburger buns, yogurt, cream of whatever soup, & protein bars. And I have many more recipes in my arsenal yet to share!
One of my dear readers, Kelly, made these adorable canister labels for all of the dry mixes I have posted. She sent them to me so I could share them with the rest of you!!
Aren’t they SO cute!?!?
Thank you Kelly for making them and sharing!!
Thanks for stopping by!
