We’re learning about PLANTS this year in science class in our homeschool, and one of the things that we love about homeschooling is taking frequent field trips. We try to take one every week, but sometimes it doesn’t happen if I get too busy (or plan poorly).
This past week we went on a field trip to a local greenhouse to learn about plants, and just before I was leaving, I thought it would be fun to make a little scavenger hunt for the kids. I sketched it on paper, made 2 copies, and off we went! They had a blast looking at all the plants and searching for the things on their list. They even didn’t balk at listening to me explain the difference between an annual and a perennial, and why certain plants were dangerous.
I posted a pic of the scavenger hunt on Instagram and got a great response from followers, so I decided to make a prettier and fancier version of the same thing for you guys to print and use on your own!
I don’t like to force people to sign up for email lists or “like” me on social media to use my free printables, but I would love it if you would do so just because you like me and want to read more!
