As you may be able to tell from my Money Saving Recipes page, I like to make things from scratch. 99% of the time, it’s the cheapest option. I also love that it makes my home safer for my family, since we don’t have a ton of unknown chemicals lurking on every surface.
So today I’m going to share with you my recipe for homemade glass cleaner. It works great on windows & mirrors, as well as faucets, counters, & more!
It’s so easy to make too ~ this literally takes just a few seconds to put the ingredients into the bottle, shake it up, and use it!
What you need:
- spray bottle
- 1½ cups white vinegar
- 1½ cups warm tap water
- ½ cup rubbing alcohol
- small squirt of dish soap
Pour the ingredients into the spray bottle (I use a funnel to avoid spills). Shake it up, and it’s ready to go. Use it with towels, paper towels, or newspaper to keep all of your surfaces shiny and clean!
